Over the course of three months I worked in the Marketing and Fundraising department at the non-profit organization Womankind Worldwide. At Womankind I was able to get fully stuck into the work here. My role involved correspondence, blog writing, print poster designing and much more.

Equal rights is something I hold close to my heart, therefore working at Womankind gave me the opportunity to take forward a vision I truly believe in.

This new enviroment enabled me to see things from new perspectives and understand different outlooks. Although based in London, the non-profit organization gave me an opportunity to connect with women and girls from all over the globe; I read their stories, I heard their tales and experiences and ultimately this impacted me. This experience enabled me to become closer to those who are thousands of miles away, those who live a completely different life style… it brought me one step closer to “walking a mile in their shoes”.

I currently work at Founded, an extremely fast paced advertising agency in London Bridge. As a strategic planner I am able to truly fulfil my USP, my job is to ‘seek to understand’. Research, research, research… research is what leads me to great outcomes; it leads to understanding, to insights and to empathy

New business and marketing was my job role at LONDON Advertising in 2014. International communications and in depth client research enabled me a head start in the industry.

My current role see's me as a social media and content strategist at the niche social network start up, ALFIES. Understanding and getting into the headspace of an extremely defined audience is daily routine for me. Working at a start up proves my flexibility as well as allows me to oversee activity from all sections of a fast paced and quickly growing company.
